Point Group 2

Shown below is an alternative stereographic diagram of the same point group. In the former, the twofold rotation axis is perpendicular to the plane of the screen, in contrast to the latter, where it lies in the plane of the screen.

Notice how the symmetry-related point changes sign in going from one diagram to the next, but that its handedness remains constant.
