Jeremy,
I have checked your marking and arithmetic for the PD assignment 1.
My comments for each student are as follows:
Sian Carol Davies 24 marks - no alterations
Neil Hyatt        28 marks - no alterations
Kennedy Ord-Miller 19 marks (using marks you have awarded)
I would deduct one mark from answer 1a - for using two negative signs in
the maths, although this maybe a typing error
I would deduct one mark from answer 2a as I think there is no explanation
of how the points he has mentioned relate to answering the question
(My total 17 -18 marks)
Stewart  Parker 26 marks (not 27, error in summing marks)
Sinisa Prokic 26 marks- possibly deduct one mark from answer 4 for not
stating the final range of d-spacings that can be measured.

Everything else appear fine in your marking,

ACTION

After discussions with MPA, the following action was taken by JKC.

(a) 1 mark deducted from Miller answer 2a (giving a new total of 18/30).

(b) Corrected the total marks reported for Parker.
