Dear Jeremy,

Peter and I discussed my work commitments yesterday and we both feel that I
should withdraw from the Powder Diffraction Course this year and recommence
next January.  I am sorry to do so because the course material is of great
interest to me and I have learnt a great deal so far.  Peter has said he
would be very happy to talk to you about my situation, if you so wish.  I
would be grateful if you would let me know the procedure for formally
suspending my registration and I will so my best to get on to this when I
return from Switzerland on the 20th March.
