  Thanks for the new email address. I had noticed a few problems with your old
one from time to time. The symbol font is more of a problem since I can't
do any tests this end on MACs - we have just about everything else in terms
of PCs and Workstations in the department, though even the latter can be
difficult to configure for the less experienced system manager. I will
make enquiries for you. MACs certainly have a symbol font as part of
the operating system, but I don't know how IE gets to know about it. We
have sorted out the problem for X-windows based systems.
