Dear Jeremy,

I attach an HTML file with my answers to assignment 1. I have checked the
HTML with my IE5 browser and by a miracle it appears to work. The point that
I am not certain about is the distinction between theta in Bragg's law and
2theta when applied to detectors. I have assumed they are the same thing but
there is a rich source of confusion lurking here. If I have misunderstood
this then the answers to questions 3 and 5 will be incorrect.
