During 1999/200 the college setup a committee for electronic enrollment with representatives from Central Computer Services (CCS) [Jasbir S. Gill, Adrian Tribe], the Departments of Crystallography [Jeremy K. Cockcroft], Geography [Richard Kelly], and Economics [Mike Orszag], and Registry [Ann Lenagan, Brian Harwood]. This led to the development of the electronic enrolment form based on the printed college green form with its associated help file.

The procedure is that prospective students submit this form to registry, with a short email (from webeditor@bbk.ac.uk) being sent to the course administrator providing details of the application number. The URL format is:

http://populus.ccs.bbk.ac.uk/pgapps/WEBPGANNNNN_form.html
where NNNNN is a five digit number including leadings zeros. The course administrator can then access the completed form (using the username webpga and password progress).

In addition, the students are referred to a technical form for the course which they are also required to complete.
