Dear Jeremy,
                Whoops! Please find assignment 2 attached . On
the week of submission I was on business in Holland (eyeing up a
new XRD unit with hot-stage attachment). I have had to write a visit
report e.t.c so only managed to get round to doing the assignment
over the xmas period, while everyone else was enjoying
themselves. Anyway we're back to work now (I only have internet
access at work - I do not have the facility at home-hence I had to
wait to e-mail it as all the details are in the computer). I must admit
I found the assignment extremely difficult (especially the symmetry
questions-couldn't get my head round them). I apologise for the late
submittance but I believe it couldn't be avoided.  I don't mind if it's
just a scrape pass (if it's good enough for that even!). Hope you had
a merry christmas and new year. Speak to you soon!
