Dear Bruce,
Sorry for the slow reply. Due to one of the tutors on the sister "Protein
Crystallography" course going off sick, I have had to run that since the
New Year as well, which has meant an extra workload - I'm just catching up
now with some of the emails.

The "Web Server Log" file is simply a log file kept by the http server that
records every file accessed on the server. So that students can see all
of the data kept on them (rather than having to ask for it), I have a batch
process that extracts from the central web server log file a subset of access
by each student. So all you see in the log file is all of the files
that you have accessed with your web browser! Its main function is to show
that you have accessed the material and to demonstrate that you are an
"active" student on the course (we have never been asked for proof, but I guess
one day someone may ask for proof!). I corrected the unfilled links. Thanks
for sending back the copyright acknowledgement - I had forgotten to chase you
up on it due to your late start.
With best wishes,
Jeremy Karl.
