Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate Spiked with NaCl

The figure shows diffraction data in the region of the 220 NaCl reflection for unspiked (0%) and spiked (0.67%, 1.60%, 2.86%) sample of hydrated sodium dichloroisocyanurate. The differences in the intensities of the sodium dichloroisocyanurate was due to incomplete hydration of the initial sample. The data, shown with a flat background removed, were typically collected for 10 hours with a Bragg-Brentano diffractometer equipped with a primary beam monochromator.
