Repeat Scans on Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate

Red line is the diffraction profile of sodium dichloroisocyanurate taken initially, while the sea-green line is the diffraction pattern taken immediately afterwards. (The scans covered a much larger 2θ range than that shown here.) As before, vertical purple lines show the position and intensity of the peaks given in the JCPDS data (5-628) for NaCl. The plaintiff's expert witness attributed the intensity of the most intense peak in this figure as being due to the NaCl 111 reflection: this is clearly not the way to enhance one's scientific reputation, especially in court!
